How the estimate is calculated

The completion estimate sums only missing pieces with a verified current catalog identity and a positive value for the selected metric. Missing or mismatched rows remain unavailable; they are never replaced with $0.

Set pages can show a broader collection view than this calculator. Only the 844 sets that pass the calculator’s quality gate appear here, so a set page may not offer a completion estimate. Select the hero first, then the set; the compact result summary remains readable on smaller screens.

Estimated market value uses the documented display fallback steam → median → average. Primary Steam price uses only the provider primary Steam field. Highest buy order estimate uses only the recorded top bid. These are reference values, not guaranteed execution prices, and fees are not included.

A bundle comparison appears only when the catalog is fresh and the bundle plus every missing piece has complete verified coverage. Otherwise it is hidden behind a neutral explanation, not estimated from incomplete values. Saved and shared selections are rechecked before restoring; if the underlying reviewed set has changed, affected ownership choices are not reused.

Set completion questions

How is completion cost calculated?

The calculator sums the selected price metric for missing pieces whose current catalog name, hero and slot match the reviewed set taxonomy.

Why are some items unavailable?

A piece stays unavailable when its selected price is missing or it cannot be safely valued. Unavailable pieces are not treated as $0, so the result can remain partial.

Is the price guaranteed?

No. Every result is an estimate from third-party catalog observations, not a guaranteed listing, sale or fill.

Does the calculator include Steam fees?

No. The displayed completion and comparison values are before fees. Use the fee calculator for a separate fee scenario.

What is the difference between bundle and individual pieces?

The bundle is one market item that opens into the set. Individual pieces are valued separately; comparison is shown only when both sides have complete fresh coverage.

Why is a set page not always in this calculator?

Set pages and the calculator have different scopes. This calculator intentionally lists only the 844 quality-gated sets that can safely use its completion workflow.
