Where do matchup signals come from? Matchup and synergy numbers come from STRATZ: the latest complete weeks of the current patch, split by rank bracket and refreshed weekly. Hero pairs with too few games count as unknown, not as even.
Why might a classic counter not rank first? Counters depend on lanes, items, timings and execution, which aggregates do not fully capture. Missing data means unknown, not 50/50. The hero checker uses the same maximum-five-hero lineup and selected position.
