Dota 2 Immortal Items Explained
How effect-bearing Immortal records and Standard, Golden and Exalted variants differ in the saved catalog.

Immortal is a catalog rarity used by many effect-bearing cosmetics. Official Battle Pass archives document Immortal Treasure rewards around The International, while the saved catalog shows dated provider observations for covered items. Neither source establishes current supply, demand, liquidity, or an executable price.

What makes an Immortal an Immortal
An Immortal record can describe a built-in effect, such as a weapon trail, changed spell visual, or animation tied to a named hero ability or equipment slot. Confirm the exact item description because the tier label alone does not establish which visuals it changes, how players perceive it, or its popularity.
How to compare Immortal observations
Historical Battle Pass pages establish that some releases included Immortal Treasures, but they do not provide remaining supply, current demand, completed-sale counts, or an executable spread. Filter the saved catalog by Immortal rarity to compare covered rows, then verify the exact variant and current venue listing.
Variant fields to compare
- "Golden" variants. A Golden label identifies a different item variant. Verify its release record and exact listing; the label does not prove drop odds, remaining supply, or a price multiple.
- Exalted variants. Treat Exalted as an exact variant field and compare it separately rather than assuming distribution or a premium.
- Older Immortals. Historical distribution can be useful context, but this guide does not know remaining supply or predict appreciation.
Buying Immortals smartly
- Decide effect vs. label. If the look is your goal, compare standard and special variants within your budget.
- Check the variant. Confirm whether a listing is Standard, Golden, or Exalted, then compare like with like.
- Use the saved snapshot. Sort the price table within the Immortal tier, then verify the exact venue spread before paying.

Sources and methodology
Internal pages show dated Dota Ledger observations, not the whole market, completed sales, or executable offers. Valve and Steam links support only the historical rules or features described on those pages; verify the current status of the exact item separately.
